Reverse Engineering Services
Transforming physical components into accurate digital CAD models with high-precision 3D scanning and expert reconstruction for aerospace and automotive applications.
What is 3D Reverse Engineering?
Reverse engineering is the process of capturing the precise geometry of an existing physical component and reconstructing it as an accurate, parametric CAD model. Using high-resolution 3D scanning technology, every surface, curve, and dimension is digitised with sub-millimetre fidelity.
The resulting digital model can then be used for design analysis, tooling manufacture, legacy part replication, or as the foundation for further engineering optimisation — without relying on original drawings that may be incomplete, damaged, or simply unavailable.
Operational Workflow
Our End-to-End Process
01
3D Scanning
Capture complete surface geometry using high-precision laser or structured-light scanners.
02
Data Processing
Clean, align, and process raw point-cloud data into an accurate polygon mesh.
03
Modelling & Refining
Reconstruct precise parametric CAD surfaces from the validated mesh.
04
Design Analysis
Analyse the model against tolerances, material specifications, and original design intent.
05
Prototyping & Testing
Produce physical prototypes for fit-and-function validation before committing to production.
06
Manufacturing Ready
